Comic Strips
This is a collection of newspaper-format comic strips, which suggests they were all published at one time or another, likely in the Daily Illini. Most of these are Dave's original artwork, although some of them were photocopies. These scans have not been cleaned up as they would be for publication, so many original pencil lines, corrections and so on are visible, which provides a window into Dave's creation process. In a couple of cases, you will even see two renderings of the same strip -- either a copy that was enhanced later, or a strip that was completely redrawn.
